The milk bottles sit in a charred, solid oak base. By just adding flowers, herbs or greenery to the milk bottles, you can make a unique table centrepiece, or add a special touch to your bathroom, kitchen, mantlepiece or windowsill.

Charring, or Yakisugi, is an ancient Japanese technique using only fire to colour, seal and preserve hard wood. After burning, the wood is cooled, combed, sanded and cleaned, before finally coating with natural oil.

Using wood that has been salvaged, fire to colour the edges and natural oils to finish the boards means that they are 100% natural and also environmentally friendly.
